Severe Weather Plan

What to know and where to go if severe weather threatens during your stay.

🚨
RVs are not safe shelter during a tornado or severe thunderstorm.

If a warning is issued or sirens sound, leave your RV immediately and drive to one of the shelter locations below. Do not wait.

When to Evacuate

  • A tornado warning or severe thunderstorm warning is issued for our area
  • You hear outdoor warning sirens activate
  • You are notified by park management to evacuate
📢 Note: Outdoor warning sirens are tested every Monday at noon — that test is not an emergency.
